The mission of the Women’s Initiative is to mobilize a cadre of 1,000 caring and committed women of all ages who will lend their expertise and support to help alleviate family homelessness in our community. These efforts will enable homeless families to have safe, secure homes, thus allowing them to become contributing members of our community. The Women’s Initiative works in concert with HomeFront’s rich array of housing and support programs. Through these efforts, we strengthen our community, making it a better place to live, work and raise a family.

• Help fight homelessness – 1,000 contributions of $100 equals $100,000, and illustrates the power of women in our community.
• Participate in special volunteer opportunities. (Your children are welcome!)
• Receive invitations to our speaker series and special local events
• Be one of 1,000 names on a critically important petition to local and state governments advocating for homeless children.
• Enjoy networking with like-minded women who want to improve the lives of homeless children and families in our community.
