“I need a place for tonight.”  “I need a place to live.”

Everyone needs a safe, secure place to thrive– a place where you and your children can safely sleep.   HomeFront can work with you if you have lost your home, need one-time help in a crisis or need help to find a safe place you can afford. We can help with back rent or security deposits.

HomeFront's Family Campus Shelter

If you and your children are in need of a safe, caring place right away, The HomeFront Family Campus in Ewing, NJ might be right for you.  We have private rooms and baths for 38 families who are currently homeless.  Meals, on-site childcare, job development, health and wellness, and other services are included.

For starters, call 211 or contact the Mercer County Board of Social Services at (609) 989-4320 and ask for a housing worker, or call us at (609) 989-9417 Ext. 101 or call Ruth Carter, The City of Trenton at (609) 815-2160. Or email us at: homefront@homefrontnj.org.

An Affordable Apartment

HomeFront and our partner, Homes by TLC, provides permanent service-enriched affordable housing with wrap-around services (food, case management, children’s programs, etc.) to the Mercer County community.  Rents are never more than 30% of a family’s income and the units are well maintained by our staff. All of our tenants and their family members receive ongoing support based on their individual needs and goals for themselves.  Please note, we are most often filled, and this is a process that takes awhile.

If you are interested, please contact Dee Nelson-Barnes at DeeN@homefrontNJ.org or call 609-989-9417 x113.

If we do not have a home or apartment available, HomeFront can connect you to landlords in the community and a list of available affordable apartments. For information, call (609) 989-9417 ext 101. Or email us at: homefront@homefrontnj.org.
