Client Services

Home Finders
Families who come to HomeFront may be living on the streets, staying in motels, or doubling up with friends and family. Frequently, our clients have fallen behind in rent and come to HomeFront because they are in danger of losing their homes. To help people with housing, we employ the following tools:
Housing List
We keep a list of available apartments in Mercer County that is updated on a weekly basis.
Landlord Contacts
We maintain contacts with area landlords who notify us when they have an apartment available.
"Finding and Acquiring Permanent Housing"
A step-by-step guide to help our clients find and maintain an apartment on their own.
Back Rent and Security Deposits
HomeFront has funds dedicated to helping people maintain or obtain an apartment.
Life Skills & Empowerment
Often, clients arrive at HomeFront with difficult life situations. They suffer from low self-esteem, and some have not been able to gain necessary life skills. A key element of our case management program is to help our clients gain these skills, and thus a sense of empowerment, helping them in their journey to self-sufficiency. We focus on life skills training, education, budgeting, parenting skills, family planning, and knowledge about accessing social and medical services.
