Megan S.

Growing up was difficult for Megan. If you ask, she will tell you that she has always been an artist, even when she used found items in dumpsters to create her toys. Her resilience and creativity led her to study at Montserrat College of Art in Beverly, Massachusetts and then employment as a pharmacy technician and owner of a health food store, among other things. When her life became more than she could manage and needed help, she was referred to HomeFront. ArtSpace quickly became a refuge as she sewed, painted, upcycled, and repurposed donated materials. She continues to receive 60% of her sales proceeds and is well on her way to becoming a successful professional artist.

“I like to feel good all the time, and ArtSpace makes me feel good.”
